simple but just need to know.

lots of aircraft srtipper, sandpaper ,mothers polish ,elbow grease, time and beer .....and i belive i have herd of it being clearcoated so it dont dull ....

you can also use white rouge and a buff pad on a air dremel, you can get the rouge through eastwood or sears, same with buff, takes alot less time this way, the rouge is a stick, you apply it to the spinning buff, then buff the metal. there are different colors that vary in cutting power, i do alot of stainless this way looks like a mirror

I use a 4 1/2" angle grinder with the guard removed, and install a buffing wheel. Use a green compound bar for the rough cut and follow it up with a blue compound. This is the quickest and easiest way I have found.

That was going to be my next question! Tried like hell by hand just takes too long... Gonna have to get a pad for my grinder!

Don't you go through many buffing pads due to all the build up? Also, prior to the buffing, do you guys prep/clean with anything special?

they sell buff scrapers for removing the build up, but you can do it with a flat screwdriver, just dont use one you like it eventually wears em rounded smooth and useless for anything other than cleaning your buffs or buttering toast
