I have a 1998 srx and the previous owner had installed NGK BR9ECS plugs and the specs call for a BR10ECS plug. Is the BR9ECS too hot? The end of the plug is burning a light brown color now with the BR9ECS plugs. Should I leave them or change to the one listed on the spec sheet?

Stick with the br9ecs plugs. Light brown is great. Cardboard color?

yeah, stick w/the BR9ECS plugs. don't go w/the BR10ECS....they're too cold.
