The Breakdown on oil

Here is a link to my first post about the breakdown on oil. it was july 13, 2006 http://www.totallyamaha.net/forums/showthread.php?t=26778 This may be what you have read in the past. I just copied and pasted it from my thread to begin another as that thread had needed some cleaning up, now I can see this one also needs cleaning.
Dealers are not required to know or do anything according to Amsoil. What knowledge they gain about our product is entirely up to them, you can take it as far as you choose but then again, knowledge is power and it is easier to sell a product that you are knowledgeable about. I find it easier to be confident with my answers to questions, rather than stumbling around questions and giving people false information just to make a sale. therefore, i ama firm believer in knowledge is power.
i agree 100% and u do a good job on this site at helping as i see that,i did not read that at this site it was another i frequent,i know your not required to have knowledge about amsoil and thats there one down fall any joe blow that knows nothing(not you)can become a dealer heck i almost became
one years ago but do not have the time it requires.but one should know the basics of lubrication and it's individual properties,was not bashing you for copying and pasting nothing wrong with it i've done it too when to lazy to type,i think we've taken this post off subject far enough,last post..

i have a copy on you tube right now but it needs some serious cleaning up! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BSgBzuzegmw
if you can bear it, it is a preview of whats to come but it is very hard to watch, that is why i haven't posted a thread with a direct link to it. there is a part 2 that i have also made but it was very pixelated too.
We have been trying to get to haydays for years and it always seems that something comes up and we can not make it. we are going to try again this year!

At the resk of beating this horse some more;

I agree that a good saleman should be able to answer his customer's questions but I've yet to meet a counter person at ANY parts store that has much of any knowledge about oil. That includes the local Napa which is an Amsoil dealer.

I guess my point is that I don't look to a saleman for detailed info about a product and don't expect technical questions answered.

The one time I did get some answers from an Amsoil dealer was when Polaris blamed a C-clip failure on Amsoil (in writing). Long story short, the info provided (Mag/Moss act) convinced Polaris to play nice and buy me three Wiseco's, gaskets plus machining. The sled went another 8K miles without failure using Amsoil.
