thet thing is a E/R sled with out a batt makes some things work differently then sleds W/O batts,get the batt charged up and put it back in and try.j_k_auto said:I am running without the batts because I am charging them. My viper n 01 does not have elec start.

Yes I checked the bulbs n they all work.
So bulbs are ok ....check.....

the wifes sled W/O a batt in the DLX will make the tach and fuel gauge NOT work but the sled runs fine. put the batt back in and eevrythings back to normal

i've got a 00 vmax 700 and it doesn't flash either, I've had it since almost new and don't remember it flashing. If you get it figured out wether it should or not let me know. I do know my buddies 01 sxr 700 does flash.
