So this year I put a sno-tek power rak on the front with some MPI trailing arms and c/a skis in replacement of a blt kit. The ole girl has never rode like that before. I mean it was as planted and stable as anything I've ridden. So it got me to thinking the only real reason I would like a new one is because of the rider foward seating position. I seen someone else on here modify on old pogo with a new seat and it got me a thinking. What do you guys think of this idea? I just photo shopped it quick.

there used to be a black/red viper photo with a prox seat and tank that looked sweet i have the photo somewhere and cannot locate the link....check out Reimond srx for ideas

the rear of sled snow flap area is dated looking but could be an easy upgrade to a newer style...new phazer....CP

I just picked up this seat for my sx. It's at the perfect height and going from sitting to standing is easy.
Of course i will get rid of the ugly polaris though:

What's that prox feel like sitting down? How high are you raising the bars? I have a 2" riser but I think I'll need more.

It feels awesome, you can put your legs under you body and not be cramped at all. It's very short and narrow but it's still really comfortable. When i am sitting on it i can see the front bumper lol. And it's super light.
I'm also going with 06' apex bars with a 6" powermad pivot riser. That should put them at the perfect height.

This may sound dangerous, but I eliminated the Polaris and Yamaha print on both seats (and bar pads) with laquer thinner and a tooth brush. Use gentle circular motions to get the white print out of the crannys and use several clean rags and don't allow it to soak for too long (i.e. soak the brush, scrub a little, then wipe dry - repeat until all traces of the print are gone). I then follow up with a vinyl protector.

Hey, my first successful jpg down load (sometimes I scare myself).

Anyhow, you can see the Yamaha print was removed from the bar pad (and the seat) on my rocket using the above mentioned method.

Second best thing I've ever done to my SRX. Just after the ZX2 skid. Many, first time riders, didn't like the feel at first. But once they went back to the sit your *** on the ground position, they loved it. It's kind of typical to when the first REV's came out. They took some getting use to.

I might try that because i definitely don't want the polaris on there lol. I really want a custom seat cover with blue instead of orange with yamaha on the side. But those are expensive so i might just take off the polaris and live with the orange.

I'm going to use cables from a mountain max because they are fairly cheap and they still look nice unlike extensions.
My stock cables almost make it, but they won't.

Lets see your pics. Mine has mpi trailing arms, sno-tek power rak, viper seat, expert x and c/a. Sounds like its close to yours. I'll post a pic later after I clean it up today for the summer.
