I like these ideas.
Instead of replacing my XCsp, I will probably add a proX seat, raise the bars, and do a little more modifying for next season.

Yes the power rak is in. I can say its as big of an up grade over the blt as the expert was over the pro action. Send me you email and I'll send you some pics. I think its a big copy of the polaris crc then even I expected. The only thing I did not consider before was that a change to the steering column is necessary. I took the dimensions of the parts before installing them. I'll try to find them.

I thought maybe he was out of business because this winter the site was down. But I just checked it and its up http://www.sno-tek.com/products.htm. I suspect he is trying to retire sounded like an older guy on the phone. I bought it used from a guy on here for 250 or 300 can not remember.

what did you end up with ski spindle ctr to ctr, 42" or 44"....i have an old article on the power rak i will have to dig up. its funny how close are sleds are to each other, I am working on figuring out the camera to get some photos up this wk'end trying to go for one last ride for tomorrow....CP
heres my sled, still have to adjust he height of my seat in the back lower so it is not shifting me forward as much, so i can stretch out to the seat back, i ended up doing the popular wedge but I moved the seat forward 2" and up 4"... going to cover it when i am done. I picked up a light weight rotor and peak head that i am going to get on this summer along with some powdercoating......CP

Yes the sleds are pretty close. I have that windshield as well but it did not fit with the hand gaurds and I thought it was better then the one on the wifes sled so I'm going to put it on hers. I have a light weight rotor that I need to install too! I'll probably get around to it this summer when I chase down the growling bearing that I have.
The polaris seat is around 5" taller. The other summer fall projects are adding twin projector hids (again this time I think I have the charging figured out HaHa..), with twin headlight, new windshield, lower the gearing to something close to the nytro and add either rox tread or the snow free things I seen on snowest and for a day or two here and I'll probably raise my bent bars or add some new ones.
I want it to be a rocket between corners and off banks. If I find some cheap SLP pipes I'll do that too.

BTW where in the heck is the front sway bar?
your power rak is 42" or 44" ctr to ctr?
i removed the swaybar last year and like the way it rides without it, more independant on the nasty bumps up in the tug hill area, still tuning the M10 but scored one with viperlover on here with ohlins and will put one in the wifes 01'phazer, my summer plans are to finish the motor and brake check bearings ect... check your track drive for the grumble i had a shaft snap on the srx right in the right side driver and couldn't see it on visual inspection, i picked up a dual headlight to mount and was figuring on powering it somehow, i have been following your thread on that setup but electrical is not my strong side of knowledge, i am also debating on reverse will see as the project takes shape, later CP

I've been watching all of the seat mod ideas, and really like what I am seeing here. I'm taking mine off over the summer, removing the side pads, and having an uphostery shop add 4-5" of padding on the top of the original foam to level it out with the gas cap, and taper it at the top like a Boss. Also extend the padding forward over the tank like a Boss seat does. Got a quote for $150 - 175 if its just the top vinyl that gets changed with added padding. Also using a "stickier" vinyl. The stock Viper seat is too slippery !
I'm using the atached pic as a template for the upholsterer. Got it here on TTY, not sure who it was but thanks for the idea !!!!
Cheaper than a Boss, and I get it "my way".....
I'm just wondering when someone will add a spring system under their seat to help the suspension out on big bumps. Kind of like the seats I've seen on Sea Doo's that pivot up and down at the back to help absorb some of the wave action. In fact, it could be adjustable for height. Lower the seat in the smooth twisties, and raise it up for the big bumps for the "rideer forward". Best of both worlds..... Just a thought........

there is a benefit to getting up out of the hole so to speak by being low and back on the sled but you need to be more active in steering with leaning because your body is higher roll center is higher ect...hence why i am going to lower my seat a little before final vinyl coverup, but with a m10 you can just sit there and go blasting accross the bumps and rarely stand, i think i may opt for some softer foam in the 02' viper seat because it does feel stiff, not soft like a sx or srx seat, ......

Could you send me those measurements of mod front end? Especially from the mounting on the bulkhead. We could use them on our projects.
