hey guys engine burnt down again now i need any help i can get on what years i can get engine parts from i need a case cylinder and maybe a crank or perhaps just a whole new engine its not a good year

what have you been doing wrong.My SRX I can just pin it all day and it keeps on ticking.Your jetting off or your gas not good.Got to be a reason for the melt downs.
are carbs really clean & clear? Or maybe sucking air?.. as for rebuilding, stick with 00-02 engine parts as the porting and heads are different.. not sure on the crank..

i think its bad gas causin it thats the only thing cause i ran shell premium with no ethonol all year and it was fine but then last time i filled was at a lake stop on a local rally and it ran for about ten miles after i filled up and then it was just like someone shut the key off never bogged or nothin

jordan i got 2 engines on the bench if your interested i can ship by greyhound its cheap and fast , reference bluemonster if you wish .

should i be leary about using an internally damaged crankcase as in its scared up under pto side hole from debri
I know a guy in Saskatoon who has a good crank from a 98... could have a case, want me to check? It will take a day or 2.
