silencer boring

I have a mm 700 -01.does the silencer boring give you extra hp?

its a free 4 to 7 hp....easy 7 hp in the midrange and 4 top end

I did it ot my '98 XTC and it helped a little bit. The great thing about it is that it looks stock. Sounds the same, just a little louder. On the bad side my buddies say it sounds like an old Polaris Indy.

Hey do you have to rejet after you bore the can? I'm already one size smaller on my mains, do you think I would have to jet? Don't want to lean it out to much.

not on the bore but if you change the head gasket, I would go back to stock.
