WHAT A WAY to end the Season...A+

I did do some water running in the ditch yesturday,a couple of spots along the HWY were starting to get long and wide and I went around them.Didn't want to stall in the middle..lolll
 
blkmax..lets throw our sleds on the Northern Train to Churchill.They are now experiencing blizzard conditions right this moment and -31C windchills.Been up in Churchill riding once.It was in April and we went out on the Tundra a full day and it was rough.Next day I got up my back was just shot..But a unique trip,got some pics somewhere.
 
Bluemonster, you must have encountered alot of water...lol... I saw sleds on the LaSalle river yesterday and today and they were throwing up alot of water and making some pretty big waves....lol.... I was kind of jealous though...lol... Some of those ditches have some deep water in them now... I may get one more ride in this weekend up in Nopiming Park... My buddy lives up that way and says its ok still... My fingers are crossed....
 
I took my ice shack off the river Sunday night and drilled some holes. The ice was still 4ft thick. My shack is just North of Selkirk by the float plane base... There were alot of guys riding there. They also had the snow x races there on Sunday... To bad you stayed in all day it was nice out. I worked outdoors for a bit today putting in some windows...
 
Putting in windows eh!! Not a bad day for it.I used to install windows and doors for 5 years,12 months of the year to.Got sick of freezing in the winter.My partner and I still do windows and doors privately,but now we basically install cabinets for Springfield Woodworking from Anola.We put some windows in Feb,was private and it was around -10..didn't freeze really. We have some big private jobs coming up where people want a whole house of windows and doors installed.Hopefully we can quote properly and get them jobs,money is good.
 
The boys at springfeild.... Did some spraying for them years ago... Small world... I used to work for Gemini Kitchens for 12yrs. Still do the odd instalation for them. I started a cabinet shop for the company I am with now to expand bussiness and things are going real good. The window and door jobs are nice, especially when its nice out. I will be in Oakbank soon doing finish carpentry in a couple of homes... We have probably crossed paths at some point...lol...
 
and this one is for expertXviper????? did you hear me,there is more snow coming next week..don't know if you said something..but I am speechless because there is more snow coming next week....Lmaorofroflmaoroflmao!!!
 
I am not sure really don't care.Have you seen the Red River today.Is it still good to go on by the weekend or not.Since it is cooling off a bit..might help.Or is the river just a patch of clear ice now.A system is moving in for next Monday and could be 10 cm of snow if temps cool down._5 C for a low that night.It would be sweet if we could go out 1 more time.
