LIFE MEMBER ONLY ONCE!!!
Myself there really wasn't much.A couple of bolts snapped in the suspension on the front crossbrace where the lower front shock mounts to.Had 1 rear
7.5" aftermarket wheel delaminate the rubber and replaced it.And the thermostat went on the SRX and 2 exhaust donuts. Small potatoes.Oh I forgot..one headlight bulb burned out.
On the SXR nothing broke.
My suspensions are all intact this year,w-arms held out good.

your are up north.I can go up north from me and ride till June if I wanted to.
Not too much here, ripped off my snowflap, rolled it down a huge hill in the U.P. (no damage, thank god), transfer rod bolt came out.
Buddies on the other hand; totally an Apex GT, rolled a Fusion into a tree, bent handlebars on a Attack, a couple broken helmets including mine. Other than that great year for me!

Mine ended two weeks ago with a snapped drive shaft and busted steering post. Both at the same time! The drive shaft took out the inner chain case but every else survived. Oh well, the ONLY time in 8yrs and 16,000km/10,000 miles my SRX has ever left me on the trail.

I hit a signpost in December took out the right trailing arm and a radius rod. Then at end of January my front exchanger sprung a leak. The TA I fixed right away did'nt miss any riding, but the heat exchanger put me out for 3 weeks, by the time it was fixed, all the snow had melted. I put in new track while I was at it, along with all new drive bearings.

waiting to get and or find certain parts can be a pain.I intend to search for extra parts in the future so when something gets damaged..you have it right there.Like my exhaust donut bite the bullet the other day,it was loud and I didn't want to run sled hard,so I crawled home at a slow pace for 10 miles. But I had 3 new ones sitting at home and got it changed within the hour. The thermostat took about 11 days to get to me,so I will look for some spare ones to.I have an extra skid which I keep stealing parts from which works out good.I have a spare clutch and weights,a spare jackshaft, and a lot of extra bolts,3 spare belts(new),spare bushings,4 spare Power Valves, spare bulbs, spare windshields, spare ski's,2 extra w-arms re-enforced,extra shocks and springs..etc.I am getting a collection going. This summer I will work on more things.exchangers,TA's,CDI,servo motor's,cables, etc.

Threw a rod on the 99 Phazer. That motor is hurt. My Attak suspension looks like a cat skid, rear outside wheels s--t the bearings and the wheels took a hike as did both idler wheels on front left side of the suspension which broke the wheel mount right off. Oh lost the hi-fax saver in the front also. Seems the 1969 SL351 held up just fine.

Last ride of the season last Friday. I was side hilling on some power lines and the sled decided it wanted to roll over. Tossing me some 15 feet, rolled over 4 times and landed on me. Crushed hood, dash and ego. Carbide cut into the back of my helmet. Just had to go on that last ride. HAHA.

The only failure of any of my sleds was the venture's set screw tieing the 2 carbs together came out and it operated very poorly until I could get that back in. The rear fox PPS shock on my xcsp is officially needing a rebuild, and I will have to get big boy springs for it. I want to do some nice changes to the XC like a taller seat, a 136" track, and bar risers. I will do a few other things to it like a clutch kit and other stuff, but I will leave the original motor stock as it still is faster than a lot of sleds that you would assume would be faster than my lil 600. Now iff it reads low enough on compression, and I doubt it, I might go with the 660 big bore that is good for 140+ hp.
Other than that, gas and go. Having the new oil pump on the venture really helped as I needed to open the hood on the yamaha less this year. I still never got the rear handwarmers to kick out enough heat to keep the GF completely happy back there, New elements did not do the trick for them.
My 2 big sledding trips I had planned both were just after major warm ups, and as such, I did not quite put 1000 miles on the sleds. Had it not warmed up and made the trails not rideable over March 8th weekend, we probably would ahve gone sledding on Saturday the 7th instead of going skiing/ boarding at Indianhead. That skiing trip took out my GF's left ACL. Fun huh?

1 piston and a cylinder, 2 weeks later the next piston, so just replaced the other one to be safe, and brake pads. Also a w-arm at the beginning of the season.

Viper was PERFECT this season.....
SXR700 had a track blow (in the back yard fortunately), so I have the skid out and I'll get the shocks rebuilt and revalved and replace all of the drive train bearings. Jury's still out on the heat exchanger. It's got a big gouge in it but it doesn't seem to be leaking. No rush now!!!
May add Carbon tech reeds in the SXR also.

Well I'm around the 2000km mark on the Mountain Max so far this year and she's still running strong probly be out for a few more rides and weekends of fishing before April.
No major problems other than broke the Rewind cord twice about 60km's from the truck at the camp, both times!!!Something about no electric start on a 700 and to many start's at -30 is hard on a pull cord....lol Had lot's of the crappy Canadian Tire pull cord up there, that stuff would last me one cold morning but better than nothing or a cold clutch start, it's safe to say I carry spare heavy duty pull cord now. Switched back to the stock muffler over the Bender Racing Can, added 2 set's of scratchers and changed a set of sliders. Hope that's it until spring tune up
