stock viper track

Hey guys this kind of goes with my other post changing viper track. I can pick up a new stock track from a 2002 viper take off, he replaced to a ripsaw. I know their not the best but the price is right i think ( $265 shipped!). I'm not so much into performance we mostly river and ditch bangers around here. Just love to ride. I keep my sleds all stock anyway. Is this a good deal as i dont want to spend a lot to get this done but dont want to get ripped off either. I've done a lot of research and this project is looking a lot easier than first thought. Will this track last me or will i be sorry down the road. I will be studding also. Thanks chris.

shipping is around 25-30 bucks so yea thats high IMO,don't pay that.

Thanks for the info, I see your not to far down ( or up ) the road from me. I'v picked up babys many of times from your hospital up there! In fact i used to work at caro community hospital ( CHS ).

I just put a 1" camoplast hacksaw on my viper this year and can't believe the difference. I'd never go back to the stock track, for $100 more you'll get a much better track.

I agree with Daman. For a little more cash you could get a much better track that isn't 6 years old (even if it's a take off).

There isn't much of a market for used Yamaha tracks so if you're hell bent on keeping things stock (the OEM track really was junk from day one) offer him $130.00 (that would include shipping) and see if he bites.
