i will get some pics up first of week waiting for rad to arrive back from getting air intake installed
A radiator!?,,that sounds like a hell of a mod for someone wanting to keep the stock clean appearance to there sled?

pics will be interesting.

I have never had an overheating issue on my venture, even in marginal snow. Maybe witha 140 hp triple triple I guess?

The rear mounted "optional" cooler works pretty good for conditions like what your mentioning. It's not too expensive and is proven to work and stay out of the way.

We thru one on our Viper and it has never turned the coolant overheat on since. My Vmax has never turned the coolant light on no matter what the snow conditions using just the 3 stock coolers.

mine has i tried a longer flap and unless your going 60 mph it overheats my brother in law same sled same thing and it p--es me off everone going and me with snow on my runnig board like a old 650 polaris

Ive had light come on on my 97 sx on hard packed roads or even a hard packed groomed trail! I believe it is do to the exchangers being under the running boards...cant get enuff snow and or ice to kick up under there. I think the idea about ice scratchers on the back of the skis would be the trick!
