I know that there are lots of reasons why i could be spinning, limiter straps, shock settings, and so on. I have explored all of these and am beginning to think that it has something to do with my track. I have a new inch and a quarter ripsaw track with no studds. Would i be better getting a different track and studding it????

i have a stock track with 96 studs .(trail) My limiters are pulled up about 75% my front shock is at 80% tight,my rear shock is about 50% and is set to soft (of the 3 settings on the bolt) my transfer rods have the big washer in the bottom and the small on top (stock rods) i get front end lift just about anywhere other than glare ice (not much 2-6") it hooks and goes
look at jmp2204 avatar, notice how the front of the sled is in the air and the back suspension is using some travel...the front skid is a pivot point of transfer of weight back to the rear shock for transfer...ok
now go get a jack and place under your sleds front radius rods in the middle and start jacking slowly to notice when the front of your skid lifts in the air as soon as this starts to happen....
1- are your skis still touching the ground, then loosen/lengthen your limiter until skis are 1 inch or so off the grond and front of skid is still touching.( do this on a flat floorfor best results)
2- how much total gap on your transfer rods?
3- is you rear shock spring tension set firm or soft? soften it up
4- is your front skid shock set firm or soft? firm it up
try that let us know, that ripsaw should be hooking up well, mind you spring conditions now and best bet would be early morning on a flat hard crusty surface .....CP

I have my transfer rods on max transfer with a 1" hacksaw with no studs and I hook and wheelie like crazy. My 99 (all stock) cornered better but had zero weight transfer and bite...
