how tempermental are the bender pipes for trail driving and does anybody know what torque gains and hp gains on a sx 700 read head engine

Bufalobob would be able to give you some specific information completely validated by dyno numbers. He also runs them on his SX so he will be able to give you input on reliability as well.

I run these pipes on my 700 red head and they are not at all tempermental. I dynoed my sxr at about 145hp and ran 116mph in 2000 ft speed run.

The only time they are tempermental is in deep powder on colder days. It seems to cool Off Mag pipe and foul Mag cylinder! On the trail they rip!
