we are getting snow here to and the flood waters are slowing down because of the cold spell.I have never seen it winterlike during a flood situation like in Fargo and here. But supposed to warm up a lot my middle of April, same time as the crest is expected. We may be lucky this time, but ice jambing could be the problem yet.It could back up the river overnight like nothing and we can't even use the Flood Control Gates because of the ice.BUT I welcome some more snow and a little more sledding in store.

It sucks, We have 10-12 inches of new snow but with water underneath everywhere, it would be a bad idea to go riding. If a person does go rinding, they had better remember where the water was so they can stay out of it.

if u want to be on the National news or CNN..take your sled and go for it.Just keep it pinned across the Flood waters, watch out or logs only.If you make it..you will be arrested and hauled in..CNN would broadcast that and besides it would be good advertising for Yamaha..lol

Ya I could make the news but not sure I would want the fine. They already got a DUI that tried climbing a levee and a canoer on the river and someone did get busted riding a sled on the levee.

Yep, I saw the sled on the levee story today. I mentioned the amount of snow up there to my wife and got the mother of all dirty looks from her!!!!!!!
Along with "What are planning now!!!"

that's funny. But you were contemplating it ..weren't ya.We had about another 3 inches of snow here,it is warm.I may try on the weekend yet to ride, but may hit a lot of water under the snow.I don't wanna get friggin stuck and can't get out.But I'll see.Something tells me I'll go for it.I just can't resist another ride, because afer this week it is almost time for the Flood Waters to come on thru here.It may end up being about 6 feet deep around my house then.I would like to try water skipping when it gets around 1 foot deep. That may be cool.
