im selling my vmax to trade up to something better. i love the viper and its around my price range. i found one on ebay that i really like.

im hoping to get it for a steal. but im a little worried about the miles. its got 6800 and thats a ton of miles. what do you guys think, do u think that is too many miles for a sled? please help me out. any input about vipers would be greatly appriciated.

call the guy on the phone and have him tell you all about the sled. Find out if it was ever wrecked. He says fresh top end...that is a plus. those motors are bulletproof. And no it is not faster than an SRX. A viper, in stock form is a great groomed trail machine/lake runner. No complaints here. End of the season price...under2g
PITURES are from 2004,,,, componints looks as though-- its been left out in the elements at THAT time. Check on rebulid.... Supension will be warn out... Nice trail sled.. good luck if.....

Also ask about the header being cracked... It almost looked like it was from the pictures but maybe tis an optical illusion...

My wife has a Viper and she absolutley loves it. Awesome trail sled!
I don't like the fact that this seller is already telling a fib about the sled being faster than an SRX. That would lead me to be suspicious about other things regarding the sled.
There are a lot of Vipers out there right now, take your time picking out the right one.

yea, thought about it till i talked to the guy, he has the reserve at 2500 and i highly doubt that its that nice. so im gona wait for something better. thanks for all ur guys input.

i would wait for something better too. i personally don't like all the rust on the exhaust system and how he tore all the decals off.

I agree with the rest of the guys! I just picked mine up at the ent of the season with 3600 MI on it for $2500 and in much better condition from what the pic's show.

I have the 02 Viper ER and picked it up almost four years ago in excellent condition for 3600.00 Cdn... Love the machine, bone stock and it handles the trails very well...

Y pipe is common problem. I replaced mine last year. some weld the pipe and works just fine. It looks to me like that is a fresh hood minus the stickers or atleast freshly painted. I would not buy it without seeing it in person first. Comments are questionable? My Viper has been a great machine just shy of 14,000 miles and she stills runs and rides well. Good luck
