Is there any difference between the SRX suspension and Viper suspension besides shock length and transfer rod lengths. I want to drop an SRX suspension in my Viper. But the Viper suspension in there now has all the extra wheels and oversized wheels for ice running. So I was wondering if I just throw some SRX shocks and shorter transfer rods would that work just the same.
yes, the straps will have to be pulled in as well and depending on the rail there may be two holes to mount the transfer rod as well,....CP
Rails
Curves on the front of the rails are sharper on a viper too but that won't prevent you from doing what you want to do.

You'll lose a bit of the cornering and lil top speed... I went with an Edge suspension and a BLT long travel kit on my SRX, rode it for 500 miles in one weekend up on Tug Hill and wont go back to the ProAction anytime soon! lol...

like wnyviper said, if your trail riding with some occassional racing around the loss will be insignificant and you stand a chance in the bumps, but honestly no pro-action viper or srx is going to be great in the ruffs, gotta change skids if that's what you want, you can have you're shocks revalved and tighten up your skid and it'll be better but not great, my .02
