vmax tunnel swap

Could a 2000 mm 700 tunnel, 141 suspension and track be swaped into a 96 Vmax. I can get the mm700 parts for next to nothing. After a bit of reading I find that the vmax tunnels are about an inch wider. Is this realistic or am I out of my mind. Just looking for a summer project

depends on your fabricating abilities. if needed do you have the knowledge and ability to make a part? Anything is possible if you have the skillz to do the work. personally i would do it.
