looking to buy another sled for mostly snow drags and maybe a second trail rider, working on my ice dragger srx this summer and would like to add another blue toy to the fleet, reason im writing this in here because im thinking of maybe a viper or a nyto which one of the two is better ???

What distance of drags? Nytro's pull great, but have no top end whatsoever. They'd be decent in 500 or 660', max.

Oh, and 2009 Nytro. The '08's are scary at high speed on the groomed trails. The '09's are better.

Im thinking maybe 10' nytro xtx with some clutching, all the drags are 500' and 660', i figure the long track for when the snow gets chewed up, or will i lose some speed with the extra weight?

according to some sled mags I have read the XTX is the fastest Nytro for top speed, and has better acceleration than the 121" Nytro. Dont go out and buy one because of what I said, but I'm sure somebody else will chime in.

thanks for the input, not really looking for top speed but definatly hard acceleration, i heard the nytro pulls ahead of the apex up to about 1000' or so.
