600 twin rebuild kit

if you buy pistons from Royal, get the weisco pistons and not the kimpex pistons, or get OEM pistons, but I heard some while ago that for the 600 twins, aftermarket pistons should be used, like weisco, not sure on how true this is. I've heard about reliability issues on the 600 twins with stock pistons, but this could be all bull, just dont get the kimpex pistons, I know that much.

I've got 3000 miles on my Kimpex pistons and never worry about cold seizure. They work perfectly fine. Mine came coated on the sides and they have some sort of special coating on the tops as well.

my Kimpex pistons haven't caused an issue yet but I haven't ridden with em yet. hope that isn't true or I'll lose a week or so rebuilding again.

I hope its not true for ya to, rebuilding is costly, between pistons, rings and gaskets, and then if you bring it to a shop to do it, its even more, but I don't say you'll have a problem, they are supposed to be OEM quality, I was just saying what I heard
