Never used them or heard about quality with them. But everything I've read on this site usually says to use OEM pistons.

I've used them in numberous applications - low cost alternative for novice riders and thier low powered sleds - but I wouldn't put them in my or any customer's SRX. You're best to stick with OEM.

you often get what you pay for, I wouldn't put them in my Mountain Lite, despite it being a lower powered sled, I'd get OEM or Weisco's, but I'd put a kimpex piston in my Bravo any day (if it will ever need one, lol)

haha nope, that bravo got about 30000 kms on it if not more, now way to tell because it had to many speedometers that worked, didn't work, and some that did every now and then, only did the rings once to lol, Bravos i'd say are the most reliable 2 stroke fan/air cooled sled built.

second that for sure
Hi: I agree with everyones comments..."stay with the OEM pistons". Its not that the "Kimpex" pistons are not any good...IMO - Yamaha's OEM pistons are AS GOOD AS IT GETS! [not always the case with some other sled brands] IMO...The only reason to go aftermarket would be when Yamaha OEMs are no longer available[thats why I have two spare sets of OEM pistons on the shelf for my RZ500!!!]
