Well our year is going to end this thanksgiving weekend on sunday at Rocktons World Fair.I am happy to have spent the time going to races with chris and being able to be a particapant and not just a benchwarmer/pitperson.I am happy to say he has won the points race and will be given the trophey before the race on sunday.
Very close points race for third and forth but i am nowere close to this.Rockton is going to be the largest track of the year and they run a double fiqure 8 track so i am told.I am hopeing i can get the little escort up on the pipe were it makes good power and keep my head in traffic.

Thanks guys for takeing the time to read my thread.

Trophy is over 5 ft tall and a couple of chris and me and another guy getting loose in a corner.Another car was rolled over.It was nice to see a job well done by chris and manage to win a championship at the end of the year.
This was the weekend the one to win but the big money went to 3rd place crazy george with a cool 2300$ for the win and his points for the year.
As they say there is always next year.

Ist race of the season on in 2 weeks at the winterfest in Tillsiinburg .Its a Points feature so all the big dogs will be there. i will be running the escort again and a honda for backup for the year.Chris is going to take another run at it and has 4 cars to fall back on.Hard to find mid 90 sunbird /cavalires that are not to rusty, so it wont be long before they find there way into the demolition derbys after the fiqure 8 races they will run.
Should be another mudfest but could allways get cold as well. After that we have to wait for the grand daddy of them all Billy Bash in july.

Tillsonburg was a hoot to run saterday seeing the track was snow and ice covered.Something we are not used to.Chris won his heat to start the points off again.I blew out a front tire on the honda but finished anyway.

Peter Beckers four year reign as ontarios King of the fiqure 8s has come to a end and the crown has been passed on to the man known on the tour as the THE ROOKIE.
Twenty five year old Chris Knight is less that half of Beckers age and didnt enter into Lucas fiqure 8 raceing untill the 09 season, but that did not stop the Bolton Ontario driver from rolling over the competition.Piloting his Biltrite disposal equipment/Via Trailers Cavalier to 8 feature wins plus 6 heat race victorys.
This was a long season, they kept adding races so i kind of lost track of the wins, laughed Knight,a ten year veteran of the demolition derby circuit.I just know i got luckey this year.Every time i was running well Peter[Becker[ and Dave[Frost would seem to run into trouble.I focused on keeping it clean and staying out of the commotion.
