This car is pure sex...

haha, i hear ya on government motors! lol but that specific car i showed u right there is up for grabs in a raffle, i saw it in a hot rod mag i get and you can buy tickets for a chance to win that car AND a 1967 corvette roadster with a 427 390hp motor. haha, might as well play the lottery.

I'd be all over the Zr1 if i had 100 grand laying around somewhere.... The sad thing is, you never kno whats to come in the future with muscle cars. i hope they stay around so when i have the funds to buy one they will be out there.

damn venommod! i will have to take u up on that offer. lol, i know if i owned one i would be very picky with who i let drive it haha.

I thought i would get more oooo and ahhhhs. lol

Do you want more ooosss or haassss....?

Sorry no coments on American crap...... :bash:

I'm sorry I know I'm going to get in trouble but American cars where the best in the 30's 40's 50's and 60's after that I can't say much....

This comment should heat up the thread.... ;)!

Nick

i'm done here....

Valin you are a genius... my god if i could only fathom the power to weight ratio your bike and sled are putting out compared to a 3000 lbs car.

Give me a break.

Nicko tell me something, in what ways are the newer vettes crap? you MUST have a plethora of knowledge on american cars to be able to judge against them.

Idk, maybe just the first look of the car would catch your attention and say thats suhhweet!

my snowmobile is faster....

so is my bike.....

Your bike/sled maybe be quicker than a ZR1 but being faster MPH/Top End wise I think not, unless they both go well over 200mph.

I did I read someone talk about Americans car company's again!!!!!!!!

Hey Nickodick when you start your designing and building cars let me know, Id love to see the outcome of your product and the warranty you provide.

But I cant take this one though, there's way to many intelligent people posting here for me to stick around. (Not you Valin, I have much respect for you even though I know your a Yota man)

I agree 100% with u expertX,thats what i was getting at. the zr1 does 205mph... quicker is one thing, top speed is another. Valin maybe your bike does reach some impressive speeds being a drag bike. you have not revealed any of that info to me though.

If it weren't for the corvette and my dad owning a few over the years, I'd never look at GM.

I agree with you Nicko, American cars really aren't as up to par as they should be. I don't think you get what you pay for.

What more do you want as far as getting what you pay for? lack of reliability? well all of our Gm trucks have over 200,000 miles on them, with no major issues.

My '07 Silverado by 35K has gone through 1 rear end, 2 sets of modules for windows, and the paint is literally falling off the truck. I'm afraid to power wash it. Last time I lost all my paint on my lower rear fender above the exhaust. It's a lack in quality control and it was shown by GM falling down. Overall the trucks been great, but come on. With it being next to new, Problems like this really makes me doubt my purchase. The best part was I went to the dealer at 28K and they told me the paint peeling away was "normal wear and tear". Really, my dads '04 cummins went to the dealer at 45K for for a few rock specks in the hood and they damn near repainted the whole truck for him under warranty. I didn't want anything to that extreme. I just wanted the rear fender to be resprayed for the bottom 6".

wow, that just sounds like bad luck to me. the WORST thing that we had to do was put a tranny in one of our trucks that pulls trailers alot. and it already had 140,000 on it.

I'm a bigger fan of dodge just because of their cummins.

1 rear end? it all depends on how your driving the truck too. I kno how i drive my truck sometimes in the winter lol, at least warranty covered that replacement.

I drive it like my grandpa. Haul the sled every once in a while, and have hauled a ton of wood pellet twice. It shouldn't of been enough to tear out a rear end. Previous years of chevrolets seem to be holding up very well, but I'm doubting the newer ones. Just my two cents.

This car is not listed with the foreign cars but it is in the top 10 fastest production cars in the world. 0-60 in 3.3 seconds and a top speed of over 205 MPH. It will smoke some cars you would pay several hundreds of thousands of dollars for.

There are people getting the blower ported and a smaller pulley with a tune and its putting around 700HP at the wheels on pump gas.

If I had an extra $100K laying around I would trade my ZO6 in for it... I believe it is the fastest American made production car beating out the Ford GT40

lol yea tom i hear ya i would be all over this car too if i had the cash, its my dream car, i would never buy a lambo or ferrari, who needs 230mph? and about the same horsepower for 200,000 more dollars?

arent these ZR1s a bit more rare then previous models? rare as in not many were produced? or rare as in you wont see many because people dont have that kind of money lately? i have only seen one so far.

The 0-60 time for the zr1 is insane, my bike which weighs alot less does 0-60 in 2.88 and a 10.2ish quarter, i'm not certain on 1/4 mile times for my bike, i've read some places saying high 9's and some saying low 10's
