Head Warpage Limit

Does anyone know the limit of head warpage on the red head triple? Just want to make sure my head isn't warped before I put it on. Thanks

Well I measured it on a granite block and I couldn't get a 0.001" gauge under so I think it's good. It would still be nice to know the max warpage though, if anyone knows, thanks.

I think I have my manual for my old 700 sx, should be the same. If I can find it I'll get you the specs. Sounds like you're in good shape though, A thousandth doesn't seam like a lot.

You could take it to a machine shop, and have them take off a few thousandths, just for piece of mind, and you may gain a little compression.

Not sure if you can see this attached picture or not. I can PM you a better picture if you wish. The Warpage Limit is 0.03mm or 0.0012 inches. I'd say you are good to go.
