Would you be worried of buying a sled that had the primary explode at wide open throttle?
A 700 non power valve triple with 3500 miles on it. Owner installed brand new primary clutch, and rode the seld 3 days after the clutch let go without a problem.
Apparently the crank run was checked out ok....What should the crank run out be?

The primary exploded as in the spring broke or some weights fell off? Or did it blow to pieces? If It came apart in pieces I'd be a little worried as it could have caused some serious crank issues. If a spring broke or something like that, I wouldn't be worried.
whole primary exploded....

if crank runout is within spec, no problem. measure near end of crank.

Had it happen twice on high rpm engines with no damage to the crank.. But to be sure I'd check it quickly like Bob suggested..
