SRX screen color? Handlebar grip upgrade?

Just got a new 2001 SRX out of the crate. Want to know what color you guys like best for the grill screens. White or silver, crome? Do I have to drill these out? Do you guys suggest a different way to fasten them in so you don't have to drill them agian if you want to repaint or touch up? What do you guys like best for the handlebar extensions, knobs levers, bj hookers etc? Feedback would be great.
 
I painted mine with Crome paint, turned out pretty good, just drilled out and rivet'd back in, if have to will try to touch up without removing, but next time will consider other type of securing them........Reaper
 
I drilled out and painted mine silver,they all came out ok except the one screen with the duct on it,i left that one in when i painted it.I added headlight decal from rich motorsports,and a silver skid plate.It looks great.On my 01 i used a black paint marker and they turned out really good also.
 
Ya, they are a pain to take out.
Drill out the rivet and use a small stainless nut and bolt.
I painted mine black on a SX700R but for the SRX I like the silver to match the front end.
Oh ya, don't push to hard with the drill it may damage the tabs.
