M10 or Not?

I have been thinking about going to an M10 this year but I am scared about tackling the job by myself. I have to pull my skid this year to change a lot of my bearings and will probable have to get new shocks. SO the big question is should I spend the money to install the M10 or should I stay with the stock skid and change all the old parts?
 
I would deff go with the M10.......I'm thinking about making the switch myself and I have heard nothing but good reports from people who have switched up..

A friend of mine and I installed an M-10 in my Viper S last summer.
Having a good grinder is helpful, as is having two people. The ride quaility is great. The sled is a little more tippy in the front, but you learn to adjust. IMO, I may have lost 5 MPH tops. Well worth it.

Hey Ryan,

Have you been on a SRX with an M10 and did you notice the speed difference a lot. You know my sled because you did the clutch set up on it. Do you think I can run it with the same clutch set up with the M10 and in your opinion do you think that is the way a trail rider like myself should go?

I have not ridden an SRX with an M10. I have only ridden Polaris's with M10's in them. Your clutch setup will be fine, and acceleration will be just as good, but you will lose top end, and you will lose more top end speed on an SRX than you would on a Viper. Installing viper shocks or a rear skid into an SRX loses top end speed. With the M10, it should be alot better in the snow.

Sorry to hear that man! I heard about that strike at Vale Inco. I will let you know what I decide to do... still not sure if I can afford it this year but I defiantly need to do my bearing/shocks and if I don’t install the M10 I still would like to buy those transfer rods off you.
