Best/worst exhaust cans/pipes for the SRX???

What mod did you do to the stock box? I'am very close to split mine open! Tired of my mod. mbrp. (still to loud) But it made the same hp.vs. stock on the dyno! But at 8000 rpm. So it will heart top end.

So maybe a mod to the stockbox would do the shit? Just want a little more sound in it. Must be easyer than try to build my one with the right resistance?

What kind of mod did you do to the stock box......is it quick, easy and painless???
 
I am running Power Inc pipes with individual stingers on my SRX. I have done some comparisons between stockers and the power incs and they are pretty close but the power incs proved to have slightly more power (running 100 RPM higher with same clutching). It also ran 1 mph higher on radar testing. All of this testing was done within an hour and a half of eachother. The power incs also added a nice sound to the sled and dropped 18 pounds off the beast. I was pretty happy with the results.

Your web site is frustrating! Im interested in some lightweight parts for my SRX....
 
I DID NOT PRACTICE WHAT I PREACHED HERE GUYS, I GOT A SCREAMING DEAL FROM A GOOD FRIEND ON A BENDER CAN AND ITS ON MY 2002 SRX, BUT I DON,T THINK I AM GONNA RUN IT. I AM SCARED OF THOSE THINGS ROBBING POWER. SO FARR, NOT DONE TESTING STOCK MUFFLER, JUST REMOVED PACKING BEHIND SHIELDS, HAVE TO TELL YA SOUND IS SLIGHTLY DEFFERENT. 3:16 (yammie tony)
 
I have Power Inc. pipes, That are ceramic coated. They lost 18 lbs off the stock setup, and gained me power too!

I think the secrets out ...you won't make power on a can maybe a haulk but very minimum for what you have to pay...Personally I love the sound of a can makes me smile...so what if you loose a couple hp..It's worth it...lol
I've had Bender, Now I have MBRP...next year who know's. I just keep the stock exhaust can kicking around...just so when I take my little one out for a ride it doesn't scare her...

I have dealt with Bruce before and bought stuff from you guys. Good stuff, just need to tune the website like an old 440 SRX :wink:

Hey i have a 98 srx with shaved heads and mr.viper lake race case porting. i have a set of ceramic coated powerinc. pipes with the 3 into one silencer. i can not decide if i should run the powerinc. or stock. does anyone out there have any concrete findings on wich is the best way to go. thanks

Ask mr viper...I have ported cylinders from him also...I would guess Bender Big Bore pipes would be your only hope of making power.. that's the word on the street... ;-)

I have a very similar setup, I gained 4-8HP from 5600-8450 RPM with my CC power inc. pipes. My power inc. pipes have separate silencers though, not the 3-1. I lost 18 Lbs, and it looks so much better!

Anyone know what can this is? Came with the sled...it sounds real sweet and isn't crazy loud.
