Viper Seat on SRX?

Hi Guys,

Can anyone tell me if a Viper seat will bolt rite up to the tunnel and fit properly on my '01 SRX? I tried searching but could not find any definite answers...

I really don't think so.. Tank and seat style totally diff.. But can always fab one up.. ?? Its Been done otherwise.....
 
Yes it goes right on but the tank should be changed for the two screws that are on the back of the tank that hold the front of the seat flap down. Ill try to put some pics up on here.

yup if you change the tank to a viper one it will go right on, i even sold the seat and tank to farmboy in the post above that he put on his srx, i also have a viper seat and tank if you want to buy them along with the cover and srx muffler you are asking about. let me know thanks

I have had a Viper Seat on my 2002 SRX for 3 seasons now. I just bolted in on and used my stock SRX tank. There is a little indentation at the back of the tank and the two seat strap bolts stick up a little but know one has ever commented on it.
 
i did that to mine, even used the same tank for a little while, the screws come right out where the old seat hooked, i also used a bumber and bumber cover off the viper to cover up the rear corners of the tunnel cause the viper seat is rounded and leaves a little tunnel uncovered. viper bumper cover fixes this but need the bumper too cause one style mounts on the inside of the tunnel, and the other on the outside of the tunnel. good luck, its a nice upgrade, looks neat/unique with that style tailight too.

I put an 03 viper seat on my 00 srx and it looks great. It should slide in and bolt right up.
