don't laugh..crap happens.Years ago in Kelowna BC where my cousin lives,he was into Ultra light planes.You buy the Kit and you put it all together.You do testing,making sure all controls work,throttle..etc.Because his Parents had a
Range ,Horses and a Sod Business of the property..it also was a good spot to launch and land the Ultra Light Planes.Well he had a friend that was so eager to get going.The guy finished assembling the whole Plane,but didn't spend the time on pre-maintenance and making sure all was working fine..in other words he just pulled the start cord,started the motor..jumped into the seat and proceeded down the field.Well to his surprise it was going great and then the throttle stuck in fixed position.Well he panicked and didn't concentrate on his path.He ended up into the top of the trees in the yard and the plane stopped there and that was it.Next thing you know.they had to call the Fire Department to get him out and down.Don't know how they got the Plane out of the Tree.Wish I was there to see all this action...loll
When I came back home,told my cousin Jim(my sledding mate) that we should both sell our sleds and purchase one of them Ultra Light Planes.He tell`s me (are you crazy,you`ll never catch me in one of them things).I never did get one after all.Continued with driving Yamaha Sleds thereafter. lolll
