Bought the sled mid last year and it would rev at 8800-8900 rpm.Didn't really try solving the problem until last few rides. All primary and secondary clutch parts were stock at stock specs.I loaded the stock primary weight with 4.5's in the inner hole (which didn't make much difference) and bought new belts.Still overreving.I purchased a WWW primary spring which seems to be a common swap and will install it this summer. Will this lighter spring help with the overev?I really don't want to spend the dough for heavier weights if I can avoid it and will try adding 1 gram washers to the 4.5 outers first but just curious about the effects of the spring change.Thanks.
Your making good hp. a w-w-w with a washer in the inner hole will improve low end. Putting a washer in tip will help top end. Can,t have both...pick one.

yep as Tony mentioned..should only use the 8DN Belt (OEM only)Most probably you should use a washer on the outside holes. You'll be close.
