Hi, im looking to buy a set of transfer rods for my 2000 sxr 600...how much will they run me and are there any effects to the rear suspension after installing these..if so what and is there a way to avoid that problem(s)?

if anyone has a used pair in GOOD condition PM me

Thanks,Matt

Are you looking for after market adjustable rods or stock non adjustable? As far a problems go, I've never run into any with either. If you go with adjustables its just a matter of dialing in how much you want the backend to to drop and the front to rise. Just a couple of wrenches to adjust. At least thats my experiance.

i was looking at buying some adjustable transfer rods...i want my front end to stand up :)...do you kno where i can find these?

If you want your front end to stand up, take out the bolts at the end of your transfer rods, does a hella ski lift. Granted turning and everything else sucks.

:dunno: When you're on the sled, the bolts are pushed down below the bushing... you hit the throttle and they drop further. How does taking them out help?? All I see that doing is letting the seat rise higher when you're off the machine??

It's the top gap that determines transfer, hence ski lift. Am I missing something?

what do you guys think about MPI's transfer straps? Adjustable Transfer Rods will be to much money, and I heard that MPI's straps work REALLY well even compared to the adj. rods?

i heard that by loosening the limiter straps it will wear the front of your hyfax faster..thought that was weird....i found a pair of adj transfer rods for 165 and that doesnt sound bad at all to me..that and then i can control the ski lift

Does anyone have pictures of their rear suspension after they added adj transfer rods to their sled or maybe someone can tell me exactly how to put them on

thanks,Matt
