hauck clutch kit #2 for 2000 sxr 700?

I have purchased numerous kits from Hauck. About half the time, they have been way off. I think what has happened to me more than once is that some of his employee(s) have assembled the kit or tried to come up with something and either had no clue or gave me the wrong components. With that being said, my rig is a bit unorthodox since it is a big bore, piped, a few mods, etc. But....I will say that every time i have spoken to Pat directly, he has been dead one every time and makes a lot of sense. I would call the tech line, ask for Pat, ask him some questions and then have him get you setup. Regarding your other questions, your belt will stay the same. If you are running a bone stock setup, you don't need to add pipes or change your jetting to make the clutch kit work. If you do have pipes, you will need to jet it and then you will want to make sure you tell him your entire setup because that will make a huge difference on what setup you need.

I have had good luck with when working with Pat directly, not so much when working with some of the others....although there are a few others that are really good too. The guys here will and do have a wide range of opinions of hauck, i am just basing my opinion on personal experience with hauck powersports. You could also check the setup page and you may be able to find a decent setup for about 1/3 of the price of a hauck setup too.
