Best way to drain coolant from Viper

There is a coolant drain bolt on the front of the motor under the middle power valve. You will probably have to remove the exhaust to access it. Not sure as I haven't done it on a Viper yet. You can loosen that to drain it. They usually take a pop bottle and cut it in half to fit under it that way you wont make a mess. Then take off the coolant fill cap and keep draining. When the bottle is full tighten the bolt back in, dump and repeat. When it gets really low lift up the back of your sled to get more of it out.

Then you can take the rear hoses off the back of the coolers and drain more of it out of there.

After you refill it don't forget to bleed the air out.

Thanks for that it worked great. Other than a couple of broke studs on the exhast. I am adding Bender triple pipes. If you ever had that set up what Helix on the secondardy would you recomend? I have a heel clicker set up on the main.

Or you could do several endos cutting one of the rear hoses in the process. It emptied the coolant pretty quick for me . . . er, I mean someone I know . . . LOL
