just wondering what my buddies stock formula 3 700 would do against my stock srx 700? Ive been trying to find the hp rating for his formula but cant find it anywhere, im guessing he has about 120......anyone know or care to comment?

The Formula 3-700 is a single pipe isn't it? if it is, your hp rating is about right. Your SRX should run circles around it.
The Mach Z 800 triple triple is what you really need to worry about. Those in the right hands set up well had a slight edge over an SRX I heard 97 was the fastest year.
If I were to own a ski-doo, that is the sled I would have. Dont think you will have any problems with the formula 700 as long as your SRX is well tuned and set-up properly, IE good clutching properly, adjusted powervalves

had a 95 machz 780, that sled was faster than my srx on radar, of course i was 40lbs lighter back then

Port your motor so you can embarass him more than you already will. 
You really shouldn't even have any problems with a Mach 1 and they will have about the same hp as your SRX,supposedly.Like Valin says embarrass him by racing him and then show him the tuning fork logo as a sign of what brand he should have bought.LOLstaggs65 said:

A SRX is comparable/ equal to a Mach 1 700 and a Viper is comparable/ equal to a Formula 3 700, due to the pipes.
