Already havin problems......

Well I was moving some stuff around in the garage when I had to move the Viper. I figured what the hell.....lets fire it up for kicks. Cranked over no problem and let it sit idle for a bit. When I even move the throttle an 1/8" though it stalled and died. I wasn't even giving it any gas. It would die before the gas got there.

Then I found my emergency stop is broken. Something must have fell on it cuz I can push it down and it doesn't stop the bike, if I pull on it it comes out of the housing. It doesn't shut the bike off though. The key is the only thing that cuts it off.

If I get a new e-stop assembly (its no. 3 in the fiche http://216.37.204.206/xtremepowersports/Yamaha_OEM/YamahaSnow.asp?Type=13&A=278&B=37) that should fix it cuz the TORS is probably screwed up as well as the switch right? $56.00 part.

By the way valin,, your 1136 is still cheaper to run than your avatar....
 
ah the hell with it,I'll post a pic for you to make you feel better.

You notice the tall building in the background,sorry them crazy hooters are in your way..lol

im not real big on vipers, but it almost sounds like a wire got broken/grounded, causing the kill switch not to work.... just a thought.
