So I'm about to buy another sled....and once I do I will own three. I'm really thinking this is a little unnecessary.

Also I don't think the SRX, even though it's very clean, has a fresh top-end, less than 200 miles...and I also just put in new crank seals and resealed the cases. It's got like 5500 miles on it, is worth much money.

It just does not seem like I'd be able to get much more than around $1,500 for it...so why not just keep it is what I'm thinking? Anyone have any thoughts on this? I have the room to store it no problem.

What to do?

i think you'll regret selling it if you are not happy with the price you get.

Nice to know you can go back to the lightning bolt 700 whenever you want. Even at 10 years old, it'll chew up most 700's

Perhaps its due to become a pavement sled???

stick a cheep sc10-111 skid in it and have a nice smooth back-up sled. Run it for another 5000 miles.... best bet in my book.....

All good points...for sure a new skid would be the way to go...I'm thinking a 136 something that actually has some suspension action would be a good start!

And yeah you're right...I don't want to sell it and get nothing for it. Why bother right?

i have one of then new fancy nytro xtx's lol but there is something cool about the srx that the nytro will never have thus i own a 99 srx now. dont get rid of it. you will wish you didnt.

dont sell it, keep it and use it as a lake racing sled, mod the sh!t out of it maybe, or get a nice suspension for it like suggested...

I'm sold on keeping it...but that tiny little 121 needs to go...or remain a trail-lake, only sled. And I do love that thing! Plus, all that motor work from last fall would go to waste on some new owner!

wow, i am faced with the exact same dilema. I'm not letting mine go for $1500. especially after I installed electric start and reverse on it. If nothing else its fun to sit and drink beer around it.
