Have read SO much info on here about swapping skids on the Viper. M-10 may have a have nice ride but you can suffer top end; are very plush, expensive..etc. I have an 03' with the standard KYB shocks.
What is the BEST BANG for my BUCK when it comes to a better ride for this skid w/out loosing performance? I do mostly trail and lake...aggressive 75% of the time but also enjoy a smooth ride when the back is screamin'.
Revalving? Fox? Ohlins?

Well, it can be anywheres from 60 miles a day to 300. I'm 43...Aries...favorite color is yamiblue and lucky number is eight

Favorite food...?
Lot of people like the re valving, I guess it will be a pretty good starting "cheap" point. Before you drop a grand or more on an M10

If you ride that much I would seriously consider an m10 airwave,GibViper said:Well, it can be anywheres from 60 miles a day to 300. I'm 43...Aries...favorite color is yamiblue and lucky number is eight![]()

That's where I think I'm heading...I am determined to keep this Viper. I really believe they may be even more of a "must have" in many winter sheds in the future. You can't beat the Viper "experience" (for lack of a better term), just something about em'

get your self and edge, best bang for your buck, you could probably get one anywhere from $200 to $500 depending on shocks, I just picked one up should be in soon

What year edge skids are best? Is that why you sold the Ohlins?Concept Carbon said:get your self and edge, best bang for your buck, you could probably get one anywhere from $200 to $500 depending on shocks, I just picked one up should be in soon
