01 srx 700. doing the Viper rear shock long travel upgrade. have the choice of a good set of used VIper shocks or Works shocks for an srx for the front. what do you think i should use in the front? i dont have any brackets.

Word is that works are a very good shock and in a different league compared to stockers.If you can get them at a decent price go for it and if you need more info go over to www.hartmaninc.com and you can read more about works shocks.Bruce is a heck of a nice guy and I'm sure he could help you with brackets if needed.

If you don't have brackets, the Viper shocks wouldn't be of much use.
Not sure what you'll be up against with a long travel rear skid and short travel front. You may want to ride it as is with the SRX front (provided your shocks are fresh) to see what, if any, issues the miss match raises.
