adding flowrites to gauge pod???

i was thinking about adding some vents to the shock tower and flowrites to the gauge pod on my cousins 99 mountain max 700. we want to get some cool air in and let the hot air out. trying to keep the clutches cool and stuff.

my worry is that by adding the flowrites to the gauge pod, it may lean the fuel mixture. any ideas?

Add them and then monitor the plugs. Jet accordingly. In my experience with that sled you won't need to cange anything, but you might add more air than I did.

well, it wouldn't be a big deal, except its my cousins sled. he lives in billings and he doesn't work on them at all. hense why i have them all the way over here in north dakota for servicing. and he only rides high elevations. how many flowrites did you add, or what did you add for that matter?

Mountain max - two in the dash and taped the underhood vents the duct to the airbox intake shut. Outerwear prefilter on the stock intake foam so it doesn't ice up.

On my srx I added five of them to the dash and that's worked real well too.

thats a good idea with the airbox. no problems then with either sled becoming lean?
