Torque limiter

Looking to install a torque limiter on my viper and was wondering if yamaha has this as a kit, or do i need to order all the parts seperate from the srx and if it is a kit does anyone know the part # Thanks

OK, I went to there web site but there was no picture of it, just want to make sure that it is the dog bone style that is on the srx's and not the adjustable type before i order it,Thanks

yes , i bought afactory one for my sled...and is a dogbone type!!!!!!!!!!

order one for an srx from yamaha and install it on your viper, thats what I did. The dog bone style is the only way to go.

Just find someone parting out an SRX and buy it used. Should'nt be that hard to find. As stated above though, the SRX one is the dog bone style and it's the only way to go.

look in yamaha accessories catalog you can see the picture of the one i wrote the # for it is the dog bone you want it also the one they use on the srx

yea, thats it but it is missing the mounting brackets if you wanted to put it in a viper.The torque arm helps keep the motor from twisting under acceleration, wich keeps the clutches alinghned
