has anyone ever thought or tried to install needle bearings in the w arm instead of using the bushings? the shaft measures 18.9 mm and the w arm inside dimension is 21.5 mm.

I have seen people put grease zerks on them. Keeping them greased helps a lot. There is a lot of slop in there though so I can why you're thinking about it. Keep us posted if you figure out a way to do it.

i would think it can be done. i got to thinkin about it while looking at my quads suspension linkage.

ive searched for bearings but not really finding any. last resort would be delrin bushings?
I machined up bronze bushings for mine and installed grease fittings. That should last a long time and also keep the suspension tight enough to actually work the way it was designed to.
I think it is betheviper's posts that talk about installing bearings in the center(front) shock. I did this also and everyone is so nice I can't wait to try it!
