Track/ Extrovert question...

I am looking at going to a 141 or 144 inch track.

Can I go with a 3.00 pitch and use the 8t extrovert drivers from a doo?

This is for a viper...

Are the shaft dimensions the same from the doo and the viper?

i don't think the 3 pitch 8t drivers will work , i think the 3pitch 7t ones are about the same diameter as a 9tooth 2.52. the shaft size on the doo's depends on the year,if the 3' pitch drivers came on the doo from the factory it probally has a much larger shaft size like 2.5''- 3". if there off an older doo they could have a 1.25" shaft size or the 1.125" shaft like your viper,it really depends on the year and model of the doo.

7 tooth 3.00" pitch diameter = 6.69"
8 tooth 3.00" pitch diameter = 7.64"
8 tooth 2.52" pitch diameter = 6.42"
9 tooth 2.52" pitch (stock) diameter = 7.22"

To find diameter in inches, take the number of teeth x pitch (in inches) and divide by 3.14.
