I got a 1980 440 SS sled from my uncle for free. It ran good but he took it apart due to a leaky exhaust gasket, so now I'm going to put it back together.
Are there any suggested upgrades or improvements to do to this stock snowmobile while I have it in the garage and it is apart?

Great Sled. I'd check the main jet size. I have the original owners manual for mine and it calls for a #135. Sled ran super strong,but always acted lean. With todays gas I'd jet up to a 145.
