Quick question...top end rebuild

The arrow on the top the piston means what? Does it mean that it should be pointed towards the front of the sled when installing?

Are there any other things I should keep in mind?

Use non synthetic oil
T up on ring install

Check ring end gaps, Make sure they are on opposite side of piston.
