cheap oil ~vs~ yamalube oil

12000mi on my engine using the cheapest oils I can find. never rebuilt. Im rebuilding this winter ( just to be safe ) and im going to start using ipone strawberry scented oil. I hear its great stuff but even more expensive then amsoil. so your best bet is to buy in bulk.
 
This year, we are switching all the sleds over to Mystic Full Synthetic. I ran the Mysitic oils last year in the Viper with much cleaner power valves. A plus to it also is a sweet smell while running. Minimal smoke also. Same amount of oil is being burnt as previously running yamalube. I do not have a chemical breakdown, but the oil looks exactly like the Polaris Full Synthetic, Not positive though. Al

Its better than amsoil it has the highest rating for a 2 stroke oil iso egd/jaso fd. Go by the rating on the bottle not the brand!!!!!!!!!!! Amsoil= jaso fc and jaso fc<jaso fd :o|

Ive been running the Castrol 2 stroke oil in the past 4 sleds i have had, a 95 venture, 95 vmax 600, 96 vmax 500, and now my 01 sxr 600 triple. I ride my sleds pretty hard and i've had no problems with it, and i plan to keep running it. At $5-6 a quart, its not a bad oil and works well for me!

ISO egd/jaso fd is the latest and greatest ........... as of todays date. I think we are still on 'd' ...as in fd.

Yes, I think amsoil is still rated fc and its more expensive than the ultra advance so why pay more. ;)! :letitsnow
 
I second that..Amsoil is just way to expensive to use.With gas prices climbing..still want a great oil to use and the Advance Ultra is less expensive and better rated.What more is there to say..

Klotz oil - I have close to 10,000 miles on my sled with only (1) fowled plug in that time and I have never had to touch the engine for any reason.

You know,, when you give your opinion a hundred times,, you kinda get tired of giving your opinion.. I'm leaning towards RUN WHAT YOU THINK YOU SHOULD BE RUNNING !!!!! If you don't know,, ask someone who knows.!!! I use KLOTZ.... That's all I know !!!
