performance heads

JUst wondering if it is worth it to put performance heads on my MM. I have triple power inc. pipes and v force reeds. I have a droped and rolled echlom tunnel with a 156 echolm skid and echolm trailing arms and mountain mod skis,bose seat and a 7" riser. Just looking for a little more power. Was considering NOS? What are your thoughts or any other suggestions... Thanks
 
I went with a peak performance head and went against all cautions and bumped the compression to 155 psi(20cc dome) from 135psi(stock 24cc dome) at sea level and noticed a big difference in throttle response. Plus you'll need to fatten the jetting a lil bit(2-3 jet sizes) to compensate for the extra heat being generated in the combustion chamber. I love the way my machine runs now for a flat lander.

What are drag and fly weights and 911 response kit? where can i get the heads and weights and response kit and boost bottle. Did you run a digatron with the heads and what jets were you running or what set up did you have on your carbs. i am from edmonton alberta canada. i ride at 2500 ft around home and 6000-8000 ft 5-6 times a year in the mountains. Sorry for all the questions but my sled is running good but i think that it can run better and just trying to get everything dialed in.

Fly weights refer to the weight that engages the clutch, not sure here but I think drag weights are another reference to a drag racing fly weight, 911 response kit sounds like a helix and spring kit from (I can't remember).
I bought my Peak-performance head right from peak themself they are in colorado USA, not sure who to deal with up there, might want to look up Mountain Performance online or one of the advertizers here, even check the classifieds section.
I have a couple of boost bottles in the works- they are all machined up and just need assembly(welding), Pm me for details. Not running any gauges what so ever, my sled is set up with bender triples and I stepped up from 150 mains to 160 mains to be extra safe, I may be able to come down to 155 but haven't had the chance to ride it around 0*F yet the check the wash, plus I think the highest elevation that I get to where I ride may be 900 ft max, and I would rather put plugs in it than pistons. You should see a vast improvement in throttle response with the head at elevation, from my understanding that is exactly why that head was made.
Do you know how to read the wash on plugs and piston tops?

the 911 response kit is a new billet spring cover for the primary clutch. it has a larger bushing in it, to help keep the movable from "cocking" and "binding" during shifting.
 
i tried to find a pic of the part to post and show you guys, but i can't seem to find one online and the hi-tech performance site is gone. maybe duane watt retired finally??
