Okay guys, I need some help....please let me know if this has been repeated a hundred times. I searched the tech section, but could not find this info.
I have a '94 Vmax 600, and have a '96 Vmax XT skid that I would like to swap in. I am looking for the measurements for new holes I will have to drill for mounting it. I am sure someone out there has done this before, and can give me some guidance on the hole placement. Possibly even someone with an XT can let me know where the mounting holes are in relation to the top/bottom of the tunnel. Thanks!

Don't have the measurments on me but we did the swap on my dads 94 great upgrade, do you have the re-inforcement plates by anychance, if not you will want to get them off a donor xt tunnel. There is a link on here somewhere to a picture with all the measurments. If you can't find it let me know and i might be able to take a look at the ol donor tunnel in the parents back yard.

Thanks, I appreciate your reply! I will look again, but did not see the pictures on the site/tech section here. I do have another member who was looking into the measurements for me (Thanks Joe!), and hopefully I'll be getting to this next week. It's great to see there are others who have done this swap that can advise me. Your help is greatly appreciated!!

no problem i actually live about 15min from swartz creek too. Its not that hard actually we spent a lot of time just double checking everything to make sure it was level and properly aligned.
