What a 99 SRX 600 worth with a broken crank? Guy wants 700 for it is this too much?

Now that depends on the body of the srx! If its in good shape its only a little over 1000$ and you have a new crank from Yamaha. Is the whole motor blew up? A motor on e bay will run ya between 1000 and 1500 used I bought my 98 with a stater problem for 2250 last year with a body that never seen a day of abuse, well until I fixed the stater!

doesn't seem like a bad deal if the body/hood/track/etc is in good shape, I have seen them in the classifieds for 1500-1800 USD, so if its in good shape, go for it.
