Pioneer Performance likes them for the 4 strokers to help with darting. HyGear likes them for the nytro as well. if they work on the 4 strokers to help with darting, it will definitely work on the viper. plus you can gets sets of them pretty cheap on ebay.
buddy put a set on his nytro and could tell the difference in steering immediately. tracked straight with a lot less steering effort.

If you do buy a set of pilots to put on make sure you get the ones you want,and what I mean by that is I bid on and bought a set off Ebay only to find that they are the single keel/carbide ones rather than the dual carbide ones with the outboard carbide.

yes i did put a pair ski doo pilots on they are dual love them
